Burns have terrified people through the ages, resulting in death, disfigurement and severe financial loss. In the last twenty-five years, there has been a marked increase in burn survival resulting in an expanding population of individuals badly scarred both mentally and physically. In spite of the publicity surrounding burn cases, there is lack of qualified experts to deal with burn patient related medical problems.
Two physician partners of American Burn Consultants are past presidents of the American Burn Association with a combined experience of over 60 years in burn related issues. Our goals are to provide expert service and testimony.
